Soccer Recap: Capital Takes a Loss

Capital lost against Mountain View back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles lost 15-1 to the Mavericks. Capital were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 7-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Manal Alkadro, which was the first she's scored this season.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mountain View, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Capital will square off against rival Kuna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mountain View is set to challenge their familiar foe Timberline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
