Lamar came out on top against Rye on Thursday thanks in part to Andrew Chairez's efforts. Chairez posted eight points and seven rebounds, which was good enough to set a new career-high in boards in the process. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best, set on January 31st, when he had five points along with five boards and three steals (Gamescore: 9.4 vs. 7.2).

Looking ahead, Chairez and Lamar will take on Manitou Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lamar has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since January of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
