Volleyball Recap: Scottsboro Comes Up Short

Scottsboro and Guntersville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Scottsboro had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to Guntersville. Scottsboro just can't catch a break and has now endured nine losses in a row.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-12.

Leading Guntersville to victory were Gabbi Lett and Caroline Canady. Lett had seven digs and two aces, while Canady had eight digs and one assist. That's the most aces Lett has posted over her last four contests.

Scottsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-25. As for Guntersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 32 of their last 33 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 56-5 record this season.

Scottsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Guntersville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Arab on the 14th.
