Football Game Preview: Rural Vista [Hope/White City] vs. Chetopa

Rural Vista [Hope/White City] will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Chetopa at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Things haven't been easy for Rural Vista [Hope/White City], and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-46 punch to the gut against Hartford. Despite the defeat, Rural Vista [Hope/White City] saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Cameron Campuzano caught passes for 102 yards and 1 touchdown. In fact, with 15 tackles Campuzano was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, Chetopa took a serious blow against Marmaton Valley, falling 12-58. This makes it the second loss in a row for Chetopa.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
