Softball Recap: Orono Takes a Loss

Orono suffered their closest loss since April 23, 2025 on Thursday. They fell just short of the New Prague Trojans by a score of 5-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-9 back in April.

Rylie Corcoran was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Orono has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for New Prague, their record now sits at 7-13.

As of now, neither Orono nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
