After flying high against Tekamah-Herman last Tuesday, Oakland-Craig came back down to earth. The Oakland-Craig Knights fell just short of the North Bend Central Tigers by a score of 66-64 on Thursday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Oakland-Craig lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Adi Rennerfeldt, who went 6 for 9 en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sonya Guzinski, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 12 points and five assists.

Even though they lost, Oakland-Craig was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Oakland-Craig's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for North Bend Central, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland-Craig will face off against Humphrey-Lindsay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Bend Central, they will take on Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
