Volleyball Recap: PORTA Comes Up Short

PORTA had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triad Knights.

Triad found their leader in freshman Brooklyn Carter, who had 12 assists and seven digs.

Triad now has a winning record of 3-2.

PORTA wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hartsburg-Emden on the 30th. As for Triad, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against LaSalle-Peru on the 30th.
