The activity and suspense from the day has just about wrapped up and South Carolina can lay claim to 44 recruits who signed National Letters of Intent. There are also one more who are still committed but have not signed.

Here are some fun facts from what went down on National Signing Day in South Carolina:

- The Gamecocks landed a nice in-state haul with 11 players signing to state home and play for South Carolina.
- South Carolina coach Will Muschamp's homegrown talent including four, 4-star talents including Pendleton DE Brad Johnson, Goose Creek DE Javon Kinlaw, Wando (Mt. Pleasant) WR/FS OrTre Smith and Union County (Union) WR Shi Smith
- Appalachain State signed six Palmetto State players, including 3-stars - OL Noah Hannon Greer, DE Jermaine McDaniel Dillon and QB/DB Malik Williams Chester.
- The Midwest got a pair for 3-star athletes to head west as Barnwell DE Earl Bostick chose to play at Kansas and Ridge View (Columbia) WR/QB Cameron Butler will play for the Rams at Colorado State.
