After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beyer, Lathrop was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let Grace Davis get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Lathrop might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Maci De Costa made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Tianna Gonzalez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. Luz DeLuna was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Lathrop's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Grace Davis, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lathrop beat Grace Davis by a score of 22-3 later that day.
