Soccer Recap: North Lenoir Comes Up Short

North Lenoir lost against Wallace-Rose Hill back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The North Lenoir Hawks fell 3-1 to the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Riley Evans, who's now up to seven this season.

This is the second loss in a row for North Lenoir and nudges their season record down to 3-4. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3.

Looking ahead, North Lenoir will take on Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they will square off against East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
