Volleyball Recap: Fairless Gets the Win

Fairless won the last time they faced Malvern and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Fairless easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20.

Ella Wade paced Fairless' offense, picking up six kills. Wade really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 11. Preslie Wilson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Fairless' record is now 2-0. As for Malvern, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Fairless wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Green on the 18th. As for Malvern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Ridgewood on the 19th.
