Lawrence Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Albemarle School Colts. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Lawrence Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-17.

Lawrence Academy can attribute much of their success to Maggie Price, who had five aces and three digs. That's the most aces Price has posted since back in August.

Price wasn't the only good servers: Lawrence Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Lawrence Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Albemarle School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Lawrence Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Kerr-Vance Academy on the 24th. As for Albemarle School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against The Oakwood School on the 25th.
