With a playoff win on the line, West Allegheny rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hampton Talbots, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for West Allegheny, who have now won five matches in a row.

Anthony Mimna and Colton Yonker scored both of West Allegheny's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

West Allegheny's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Hampton, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3-2.

Looking ahead, West Allegheny will challenge Thomas Jefferson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
