Baseball Recap: Liberty Hawks vs. Parlier Panthers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over the Parlier Panthers on Tuesday. With that victory, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 7.3 runs per game.
Anthony Gaitan looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Liberty got a massive performance out of Jacob Rogers-Lehman, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Xaviar Gordon, who scored three runs while going 4-for-5.
