Baseball Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Quincy's offense. They came up short against the Duxbury Dragons on Friday, falling 10-0. The Presidents have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Duxbury, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2-1.

Coming up, Quincy will take on Hull at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Presidents are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Duxbury, they will face off against Nauset Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Warriors will have lost nine straight heading into Monday's game.
