Football Game Preview: West Anchorage Eagles vs. Colony Knights + How To Watch

The West Anchorage Eagles will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Colony Knights at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in West Anchorage's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Colony has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

West Anchorage will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 12 points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Juneau-Douglas on Saturday. The Eagles took their contest with ease, bagging a 44-8 victory over the Crimson Bears. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Colony faced Bartlett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights took a 15-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Colony's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Anchorage, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
