Baseball Game Preview: LBJ Austin Jaguars vs. Lago Vista Vikings

The LBJ Austin Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Lago Vista Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. LBJ Austin has given up an average of 15.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

LBJ Austin is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Manor New Tech, falling 28-3.

Jacovy Smith-Poole made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Meanwhile, while it was Lago Vista who put the first points on the board on Wednesday, it was Wimberley who put up more. Lago Vista fell just short of Wimberley by a score of 4-3. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lago Vista saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson York, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

LBJ Austin's record now sits at 1-9. As for Lago Vista, their record is now 4-7.
