Flag Football Recap: Plainfield Central Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Plainfield Central challenged Joliet West on Monday. The Wildcats lost to the Tigers on the road by a 38-22 margin.

Londyn Clemons was her usual excellent self, rushing for 206 yards and one TD while picking up 11.4 yards per carry for Joliet West. Clemons' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked her third straight game with at least 155 rushing yards. Maya Zanzola was in the mix as well, providing Joliet West with two touchdowns.

Plainfield Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Joliet West, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Plainfield Central has already played their next game (against Plainfield East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Joliet West, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 24-18 defeat against Naperville Central on the 30th.
