Baseball Recap: Pewitt Comes Up Short

Pewitt was the 5-2 winner over Rivercrest when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Brahmas lost 10-2 to the Rebels on Tuesday.

Pewitt saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dalton Hicks, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Pewitt dropped their record down to 5-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rivercrest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

While Pewitt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
