Basketball Recap: J'kayla Thomas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ida Baker over Cape Coral

Ida Baker blew Cape Coral out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Cape Coral got their revenge. The Ida Baker Bulldogs fell just short of the Cape Coral Seahawks by a score of 46-43. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was J'Kayla Thomas, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 11 points and five rebounds. Isabela Beauchamp was another key player, going 5 of 10 on her way to 10 points and six rebounds.
