It was a good run, but Celina unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Bath Wildcats by a score of 7-6. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Nick Steinbrunner was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Chance Miller, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Celina's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bath, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Celina will face off against Houston at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bath, they will take on Kenton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bath is facing Kenton at the right time seeing as Kenton is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
