Volleyball Recap: Pine Tree Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pine Tree had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Henderson Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Pine Tree walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-21.

Pine Tree's victory bumped their record up to 26-13. As for Henderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-18.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pine Tree will take on rival Cumberland Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Henderson is set to challenge their familiar foe Carthage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
