On Monday, Keystone Oaks got the W thanks in part to Kennadi Smith playing the best softball she has all season. Smith struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 5.3 strikeouts per game.

Smith and Keystone Oaks will square off against Charleroi at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles had to take a loss when they last met the Cougars, but Smith had little to do with the loss: she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits.
