Oxford is a perfect 3-0 against Chichester since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will host the Eagles at 3:45 p.m. Oxford has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Oxford after they put the first runs on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Downingtown East, falling 20-6.

Alexa Keenan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Helen Jackson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, Chichester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Phoenixville. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Oxford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chichester, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Oxford's way against Chichester when the teams last played back in March of 2022, as Oxford made off with a 13-0 victory. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
