Basketball Game Preview: Clawson Trojans vs. Warren Woods-Tower Titans

Clawson has won five straight games at home, while Warren Woods-Tower has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Clawson Trojans will host the Warren Woods-Tower Titans at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Thursday, everything went Clawson's way against Sterling Heights as Clawson made off with a 48-22 victory. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Stallions are ranked 648th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Warren Woods-Tower made easy work of Lamphere on Thursday and carried off a 49-26 win.

Warren Woods-Tower is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.7 points. As for Clawson, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Clawson was able to grind out a solid win over Warren Woods-Tower in their previous meeting back in January, winning 53-41. Will Clawson repeat their success, or does Warren Woods-Tower have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
