They never let the Craig County Rockets onto the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for Fort Chiswell, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Krista King made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. King has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive pitching appearances. King was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
