Basketball Recap: Danbury Hatters vs. St. Joseph Cadets

Danbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 78-50 loss at the hands of the St. Joseph Cadets. The Hatters were down 60-39 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

St. Joseph was led to victory by TJ Wright and Jayden Febus. Wright went 10-for-18 on his way to 23 points in addition to five assists and four steals, while Febus went 8-for-18 to rack up 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Febus continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Lameik Black was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 10 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Danbury's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for St. Joseph, their record is now 7-12.

Danbury has already played their next match (against New Canaan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Joseph also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Stamford.
