Troup County has gone 6-1 against Callaway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The two teams will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. Troup County will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

While Troup County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Upson-Lee with a sharp 57-33 win last Thursday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Knights are ranked 349th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Callaway played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Heard County and fell 57-25. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Troup County pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Callaway, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Troup County took their win against Callaway when the teams last played back in December of 2018 by a conclusive 65-41. Will Troup County repeat their success, or does Callaway have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
