Baseball Recap: Bartram Trail Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bartram Trail, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Parkview Panthers 7-5. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers on Wednesday, too.

Croix DiBacco looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jonathan Bay was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Colt Brown, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Bartram Trail always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The win snapped Bartram Trail's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-14 record. As for Parkview, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7.

Bartram Trail wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 loss against Lincoln on the 10th. As for Parkview, they will square off against Brookwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
