After a string of four wins, Falls Lake's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the Enloe Eagles, falling 3-0.

Falls Lake was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.

Falls Lake's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Enloe, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falls Lake will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Durham School of the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Enloe, they will host South Garner at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
