Baseball Recap: Carter Takes a Loss

Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Seymour Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss last Saturday.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Seymour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Carter nor Seymour have any future games scheduled.
