Softball Recap: Taylorville Comes Up Short

Taylorville lost against Mt. Zion on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tornadoes might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-5 to the Braves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylorville's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mt. Zion, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Taylorville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Warrensburg-Latham on the 14th. As for Mt. Zion, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-6 loss against Beecher on the 14th.
