Soccer Game Preview: Westfield School vs. Calvary Christian

For the first time this season, Westfield School will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the Calvary Christian Knights at 6:30 p.m. Westfield School will be strutting in after a win while Calvary Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Westfield School will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Thursday, then bounced right back against Tiftarea Academy on Tuesday. Westfield School was the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over Tiftarea Academy.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian managed to keep up with Brookstone until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Calvary Christian lost 4-1 to Brookstone. The Knights have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Calvary Christian's goal came courtesy of Brooklyn Vann, who's now up to six this season.

Westfield School's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Calvary Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
