Kermit was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Tornillo on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets blew past the Coyotes 9-2. This was a revenge game for the Yellow Jackets: when they faced off against the Coyotes back in March, they had to take a 9-7 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Anthony Gallardo, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Ian Bejarano, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

The victory got Kermit back to even at 8-8. As for Tornillo, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15.

Coincidentally, Kermit and Tornillo will both be playing Anthony the next time they take the field. The Coyotes will host the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Yellow Jackets will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
