Basketball Recap: Elkhorn South Storm vs. Millard North Mustangs
It was a classic North v. South duel when Elkhorn South duked it out withMillard North on Tuesday. The Elkhorn South Storm took a 66-48 bruising from the Millard North Mustangs. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Millard North's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avril Smith, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 14 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Elkhorn South's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Millard North, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

As for Millard North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-35 win against Papillion-LaVista South on the 17th.
