Standish-Sterling took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Shepherd, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bluejays on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Standish-Sterling's win bumped their record up to 10-7-6. As for Shepherd, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-2.

Looking ahead, Standish-Sterling will challenge Hemlock at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shepherd, after both having extra time off, they and Bullock Creek will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
