Softball Recap: Palma Takes a Loss

Palma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hollister Haybalers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Haybalers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Friday.

Analysia Rocha was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Palma's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Hollister, their record now sits at 13-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palma will square off against Monterey at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dores will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Chieftains surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hollister, they will take on Salinas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Haybalers will need to watch out since the Cowboys have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
