Alexander Central won the last time they faced South Caldwell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24, 22-25, 25-23.

Reagan Pierce paced Alexander Central's offense, picking up 22 kills. Pierce got some help from Makayla Williams and her 29 assists. Hallie Harrington controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Alexander Central's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for South Caldwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Alexander Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Caldwell, they will welcome Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
