Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Latin). They were the clear victors by a 20-6 margin over the Lake Forest Academy Caxys on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Romans needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Latin's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Lake Forest Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Latin will challenge Payton College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Grizzlies will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Romans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Forest Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Harvest Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. The Caxys' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 12.2 runs per game this season.
