Basketball Game Preview: Western Reserve Roughriders vs. St. Paul Flyers

Western Reserve is on a four-game streak of home wins, while St. Paul is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Western Reserve Roughriders will welcome the St. Paul Flyers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both are at an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but likely not for long.

On Thursday, Western Reserve lost to Monroeville on the road by a 50-36 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Paul). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 75-43 win over Mapleton. The Flyers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Western Reserve's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for St. Paul, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
