Pacheco can  bid farewell to their 16-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  16-1 margin over the Gustine Reds. Considering the Panthers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
 Sasha Siemiller and  Emma Landeros did most of the damage at the plate:  Siemiller  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run, while  Landeros  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  runs and one  stolen base. That's the most  runs  Landeros has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Angela Gomez-Vega, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Pacheco  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .667. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  win was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 4-17. As for Gustine, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record  this season.
 Pacheco didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  11-3  loss against Millennium on the 24th. As for Gustine, they have also already played their next game,  a  14-4  defeat against Pitman on the 24th.
