Basketball Recap: Pickett County Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Pickett County came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Clinton County Bulldogs, posting a 75-39 victory. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Pickett County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Clinton County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
