Softball Game Preview: Des Arc Eagles vs. Sylvan Hills Bears

The Des Arc Eagles will take on the Sylvan Hills Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Des Arc 2.3, Sylvan Hills 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Des Arc is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Marion just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 7-3 to the Patriots.

Des Arc saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paycen Seely, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sylvan Hills' offense. They lost 10-0 to Des Arc on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bears were not able to get on the board.

Sylvan Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Des Arc, their loss dropped their record down to 22-7.
