Basketball Recap: Samuel Priester Key Part of a Team Effort in Atomsmashers Win

There's no place like home for Johnson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets 68-47 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Atomsmashers have posted since November 25th.

Johnson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samuel Priester, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Priester a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin James, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points and six assists.

Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Southeast Bulloch, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Johnson will be taking part in a tournament against New Hampstead at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in New Hampstead's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests. As for Southeast Bulloch, they will take on Effingham County in a tournament on Friday.
