Volleyball Recap: St. Agnes Academy Find Success

St. Agnes Academy lost to Summertown back in October of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Stars walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stars.

Summertown's loss came despite strong showings from Zoei Bonner and Annalee Kelly. Bonner had 14 assists and six digs, while Kelly had 12 digs and three assists. Bonner has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 27 times she's played.

St. Agnes Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Summertown, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 27-6.

St. Agnes Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Blackman on the 20th. As for Summertown, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Page on the 20th.
