Baseball Recap: Crosby Takes a Loss

Crosby was the 7-6 winner over Porter when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Crosby Cougars fell 7-4 to the Porter Spartans on Friday.

Crosby dropped their record down to 11-10-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Porter, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Crosby Cougars take on Splendora Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Splendora's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Crosby's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Porter, they will square off against West Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
