Newaygo entered their tilt with Lakeview on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victor by a 50-28 margin over the Lakeview Wildcats. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season.

Newaygo's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lakeview, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Newaygo will be home for the holidays to greet Tri County Area at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeview, they will venture away from home to square off against Utica Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Utica Ford will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lakeview surely won't give up without a fight.
