Basketball Recap: North Hall Takes a Loss

North Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pickens Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Dragons are ranked 29th).

North Hall's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Pickens, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Hall will take on Lumpkin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hall is facing Lumpkin County at the right time seeing as Lumpkin County is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Pickens has already played their next matchup (against Greater Atlanta Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
