Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Logan Elm rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Indians as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Logan Elm's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hillsboro to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-8.
Logan Elm's win came from a few key players Gallia Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sadie Binkley, who had nine digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last eight contests. Another player making a difference was Macy Greene, who had 11 digs.
Gallia Academy's record is now 23-0. As for Logan Elm, their record now sits at 18-5.
