Volleyball Recap: Urbana University Comes Up Short

Urbana University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 39th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Tuscola Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Illineks of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15.

Urbana University's record is now 0-24. As for Tuscola, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Urbana University will head out on the road to face off against Cornerstone Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tuscola, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Meridian at 7:00 p.m.
